If Then was a series for Riverview Church. The whole church, adults and RivKids, were going through the same topics at the same time. The idea behind the series was If you have been raised with Christ, Then a number of thing are true about you and how you should live. The "Then" pieces were the topics for this 15 week series.
The idea for the title package was inspired by the name of the series. It lead us to think about chain reactions and how to show that happening symbolically.
We landed on the idea of a "marble track" to show this. Initially we were going to build a phyisical depiction of the track on stage wall and then digitally add in the "marbles" going down the track. Then for the sake of time decided to just do the marble track digitally. Ultimately the marble track was not displayed but it helped inform the direction of the title package video.
The test for the physics animation was built in Adobe Character Animator, and the final video was built in Adobe After Effects using a plugin called Newton. Our Digital Media Producer/Videographer did the animation for the final video.
